I am, and will always be, led by the energy around me. My paintings are about that energy and choosing to see the world with a brighter outlook, as well as, the healing I have found in our human connection with nature.
I have served my community for 10 years in fields ranging from HIV/AIDS, domestic violence, and most recently, child advocacy. I have come to a crossroads in which my passion to help others has been met with self care and discovery.
Art has given me the opportunity to do both. The bright, textured nature of my paintings represents the diverse tapestry that not only weaves our collective human story, but all life on Earth. It takes a conscious effort to see beauty in every day things, and hopefully, my vibrant and detailed portrayal of wild animals, plants and our domesticated best friends will help you to see life in a brighter light.
Thanks for coming along with me on this journey to heal. “Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.” Desmond Tutu.
